Freelance evening wear fashion designers needed immediately!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT REPLY UNLESS YOUR AN EVENING WEAR FASHION DESIGNER!!We are not interested in graphic designers!
Job Description: Our company is looking for a driven and talented designer to create innovative pieces for our upcoming evening wear collection. The designer must have the ability to produce quickly. MUST BE A SKILLED PATTERN MAKER AND BE ABLE TO SEW. The designer will create an original garment or design garments that follow well established fashion trends. May develop the line of color and kinds of materials. textiles are according to plan.
Requirements:
*must be able to do pattern making
*must be able to create a technical sketch
* must have technical skill in working with materials required for the chosen specialty
* minimum GPA 3.00
* a bachelor`s degree in Art, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising or a related field is recommended but not always required
* a portfolio of original self-designed and manufactured products is vital.
* above average ability for creative expression;
* persistence and determination;
* ability to work independently, drawing and sketching skills;
* handle stress due to deadlines.
